The Annual Peak Food Assistance Needs Outlook is accompanied by an infographic that visualizes the annual peak food assistance needs, specifically the peak Population in Need (IPC Phase 3 or higher) and the proportion of the peak PIN. The infographic also indicates countries likely to have areas in Emergency (IPC Phase 4) in the absence of food assistance and countries at Risk of Famine.
The biannual Peak Food Assistance Needs Outlook Brief provides an overview of FEWS NET’s analysis of urgent humanitarian food assistance needs in geographies regularly monitored by FEWS NET.
