These monthly briefings provide an overview of FEWS NET’s latest Food Assistance Outlook Briefs (FAOBs), including information on the timing, location, and magnitude of current and future food assistance needs. Updates also include estimates of the population in need (PIN) of humanitarian food assistance seven months into the future, in addition to projections of anticipated acute food insecurity outcomes (the highest IPC area-level classification).
